Worth is a village in Cook County, Illinois, United States. The population was 11,047 at the 2000 census.
Demographics
The Village of Worth operates under a President-Trustee form of Government with a Village President (Mayor) and a Village Board composed of six Village Trustees (Councilmen / Aldermen) elected at large.
There are two political parties in Worth Government - The Integrity Party (IP) and the Voices of Worth Party (VOW).

All six trustees are elected at large with three being elected at the same time as the President and three being elected two years later.
- Trustee Mary Rhien was appointed by President Guzdziol in April 2001 to fill out the remaining two years of his term on the Board of Trustees when he was elected President. She was re-elected in 2003 and again in 2007. Village Government
Worth is divided between two congressional districts. Most of the village is in Illinois' 3rd congressional district; the area south of 115th Street and east of Harlem Avenue, and also between 114th Place and 115th Street from Harlem to Oak Park Avenue, is in the Illinois' 1st congressional district.
Worth is located within 2 State Representative Districts, the 35th and 36th and 1 State Senate District, the 18th.
